Sarah Atkinson, CA MSOM

Sarah Atkinson C.A. is a board certified Acupuncturist with the State of Wisconsin and NCCAOM, graduating with honors from the Oriental Medicine Masters program at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine.  Sarah utilizes the modalities of Oriental medicine which include: acupuncture, gua sha, cupping, moxibustion, clinical nutrition and herbology to help individuals experience healing from disease patterns. She believes Oriental Medicine is a priceless tool for achieving optimal health results!
As an acupuncturist, Sarah seeks to find and treat the underlying cause of disease symptoms. She sees patients with a wide variety of concerns, with a primary focus on gastrointestinal and liver disease, hormone, metabolic and mood imbalances, addiction recovery, chronic fatigue, reproductive health, diabetes, and autoimmune disease. She also works with patients in the Chinese Medical model of acute and chronic conditions to support the restoration of health. Sarah sees her patients as individuals, and personalizes treatments based on their unique needs and circumstances. Having grown up in Wisconsin, she has a strong connection to her family and community.
Sarah is a member of the Society of Acupuncture Research, Wisconsin Certified Acupuncturists (WISCA) and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Corrine Rathbun, CA, LMT, MSOM

Corrine Rathbun, C.A. has been training in Asian and Traditional Chinese Healing Arts since 2001 after having found evidence of its promising impact on her own personal health at a young age. She has dedicated her mission to assisting patients in all populations so they may achieve improved quality of life through holistic health.
In addition to being a Board Certified Acupuncturist with the State of Wisconsin, Corrine is also a Licensed Massage Therapist and Bodyworker, Certified Qigong and Taiji Instructor, and Certified Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner. She is a 2002 graduate of The East West Healing Arts Institute, Madison, WI and a 2012 graduate of The Midwest College of Oriental Medicine, Racine, WI.

With experience in wellness centers, hospitals, clinics, spas, and private practice, Corrine has gained a variety of skills and knowledge that has shaped her approach and compassion towards the patients that she works with. She has additional training in acupuncture for chronic stress, neurological disorders, autoimmune disease, muscular-skeletal disorders and infertility.

Taking a modern approach to ancient philosophies and techniques, Corrine enjoys helping patients to restore peace and wellness through acupuncture, herbalism, bodywork, cupping, gua sha and moxabustion. She is passionate about forming relationships in the community she serves and loves educating on health, wellness and disease prevention.

In her time away from work, Corrine enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to tropical destinations, kayaking on The Fox River, reading about science and antiquing for lost treasures.

Emily Schmitt, LAc MSAc

Emily Schmitt has earned her Master’s Degree in Science of Acupuncture
from the Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago, IL. Emily began studying
Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2018 when she was inspired by the natural healing
benefits of acupuncture and wanted to share it with others. She completed clinical
training in private practice and community-style acupuncture healthcare settings,
gaining experience working with a wide range of conditions.

Emily works with her patients to create an individualized treatment plan that focuses to
restore wellness using a holistic approach to treat body, mind, and spirit. Acupuncture
along with Traditional Chinese modalities are utilized in treatments to target the
underlying cause of symptoms through balancing the body’s vital energy (Qi). Emily
has special interest in treating pain relief, neuropathy, gastrointestinal health, fertility for
women & men, migraines, and psycho-emotional health. Emily is trained in orthopedic
style needling to treat musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, including sports injuries.

Outside of the office, Emily likes to stay active by going hiking, camping, and traveling.
She enjoys planting, reading a good book, spending time with family & friends. Emily is
a former acupuncture assistant at Healthy Living Acupuncture and is thrilled to continue
being a part of your healthcare journey.
