{"id":613,"date":"2017-01-14T17:43:13","date_gmt":"2017-01-14T17:43:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/healthylivingacu.com\/?p=613"},"modified":"2020-03-23T17:05:40","modified_gmt":"2020-03-23T17:05:40","slug":"cold-weather-pain-management","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/healthylivingacu.com\/?p=613","title":{"rendered":"Cold weather and Pain Management"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"element contentblock\">\n<div class=\"container\">We all know the cold weather makes us stagnant and introverted, but from a circulatory observation there is never a better time to stay moving! &nbsp;Our bodies seem less thirsty in the Winter and blood deficiency is seen often due to the over consumption of coffee and meats. &nbsp;We are left with a low level of fluids that easily freeze up with cold stagant envirnoments.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d like to remind<a href=\"https:\/\/healthylivingacu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/qtq80-kazcRO.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-620 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/healthylivingacu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/qtq80-kazcRO-300x225.jpeg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/healthylivingacu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/qtq80-kazcRO-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/healthylivingacu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/qtq80-kazcRO-768x576.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/healthylivingacu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/qtq80-kazcRO-1024x768.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/healthylivingacu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/qtq80-kazcRO.jpeg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a> of the incredibly important need for water and exercise. &nbsp;When I fill my ice cube tray in the freezer I am reminded of the need to fill the water in each cube. &nbsp;It takes longer to freeze if I filled it only half full! &nbsp;If our bodies are low in fluids they stagnate or freeze up faster. &nbsp;Building up our fluids makes for less stagnation over and stagnant energy is PAIN!<\/p>\n<p>I find it useful to moving when I&#8217;m in pain. &nbsp;The longer I sit the worse I feel, so I balance this out by trying to move every hour if I am sitting. &nbsp;Filling up my fancy water bottle every couple of hours insures my hydration is sufficinet. &nbsp;Please keep your rivers of energy full by keeping up on your water and reducing your diuretics(eg. sugar, caffiene and alcohol) &nbsp;When the river gets low it also easily forms pools of stagnation which results in pain.<\/p>\n<p>Acupuncture moves and distributes our fluids to relieve pain. &nbsp;We also help the body build fluids by supporting the kidney, spleen and liver! &nbsp;Hope you stay warm and this finds you well! &nbsp;Keep your focus on health and wellness! &nbsp;If you don&#8217;t who will?<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We all know the cold weather makes us stagnant and introverted, but from a circulatory observation there is never a better time to stay moving! &nbsp;Our bodies seem less thirsty in the Winter and blood deficiency is seen often due to the over consumption of coffee and meats. &nbsp;We are left with a low level &hellip; <a href=\"https:\/\/healthylivingacu.com\/?p=613\">Continued<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":620,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-613","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
