Letter from Sarah on Acupuncture for Pain Management

Acupuncture for Pain Management

I’m so excited to share some exciting information with you regarding tendon/muscle health! The idea of pain management for inflammation through acupuncture is hitting the healthcare scene as referrals stream in via Western medical clinicians. The most common musculoskeletal conditions are low back pain, arthritis and myofascial pain.

Acupuncture stops pain through many neurological pathways. It brings new blood in and disperses old blood out, which speaks of managing cell proliferation and cell death within the tendon. Inserting a needle into distressed tissue will likely bring about healing effects, but with a trained acupuncturist, you receive the specialized care of meridian circulation and internal pattern care as well!

We diagnose and treat via an interconnected system; so for example, if you injure muscle tissue or have arthritic pain we support the digestive system for optimal availability of nourishment for your body.   The digestive “heat” found in the stomach with acid reflux also has a big affect on absorption and inflammation. For this reason we have been studying Loomis Enzymatics line of enzyme supplements to bring you specialized digestive care. I’m happy to report we have been able to help many people reverse their acid reflux and minimize their need for PPI’s(Protein Pump Inhibitors)

I’d like to conclude by shouting out a big THANK YOU to our wonderful community of alternative health providers(chiropractors, personal trainers, yogi’s, massage therapists) in Sheboygan County! Research shows that it’s the pairing of multiple healing modalities that provides the best outcomes. I also have to THANK YOU for taking care of yourself through the healthy choices you make every day. It all matters and counts so much toward your success!

Best regards,
